Coloring Easter Eggs

Before we started coloring eggs, Katelyn got to open some belated birthday presents. She got new sunglasses with an outfit and as you can see she loves them. LOL!

Katelyn is playing with the little egg scooper that gets the egg out of the dye. It is hard to see but her eyes are closed and she is puting it up to her face. She is very entertained...who needs to color eggs when you have this cool thing.

Easter Eve...

The girls and I had the oppurtunity to go see my Cousin's daughter be baptised on Saturday. After the baptism we went to the rec center for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.
Angela did the hunt for all the kids and they had a blast!

Baylee just ran way out into the field and did her own thing, we gave them a limit but she really did not want to leave the other eggs behind. I think she went over her egg limit...oops!

I walked with Katelyn to help her find eggs. I was telling her to find the eggs and she would stop and point five feet away and say "Yook Mom there's one". Once she figured out she could pick them up and put them in her basket she was good to go. Then she just had this big smile on her face and she would run to the next egg.

Bud finally got a shed....YAY!

We have been working toward this for a long time, we have had the spot for it ready for at least two years.

He is very proud of his shed! Just come visit and you will see. LOL!

This is the back of our house. When we first moved in, the are from the patio to the shed was dirt. It is crazy to see how much we have done!

Eat your veggies!

This little Monkey can be a very picky eater. She asked for more veggies then she took the bowl from me and started picking. She really likes peas which is funny because when she was younger she used to smash them on the table with one finger and laugh about it.

Every once in a while you hear Baylee say "Mom, look at Katelyn" and you see funny stuff like this.......

and of course we can't leave Baylee out of the camera. Especially when she is asking you to take her picture....

Fire Station...

We are off to the firestation...

Baylee sitting in the back of the Ambulance. She didn't want to take off her Hannah Montana hat to wear her fire hat. They have a Mickey and Minnie mouse in the back of the Ambulance that Katelyn kept saying "my mousey" and pointing at them. She wouldn't get in with Baylee though. Ever since this trip Katelyn always says "I don't like the ambulance" and "I don't like a firestation".

Baylee is waiting for them to turn the lights on on the firetruck. It is pretty fun listening to the things she has learned about fire safety and what you are supposed to do.

April Fools......

Bud decided to put Kevin's car up for sale on KSL for $2500.00. He posted it at about 8:30 a.m. and by the time Kevin figured out who did it, it had been viewed about 400 times. Kevin called Bud a little after 9:00 a.m. blaming his Brother-in-law Josh and told him that he had to shut both of his phones off. Then Bud tried to take Kevin to lunch around 11:00 a.m. so he could tell him and Kevin wouldn't go to lunch because he was going to go to Josh's and shoot his tires. So by the end of the day Kevin had 21 messages on his voicemail and the add had been viewed over 500 times. He figured it out around noon or so and they ended up going to lunch.

As you can tell from the picture, it has a huge 49ers window tint on the back. Because the 49ers suck and have for the last decade, I figure that depreciates the value of the car. In fact, I believe that Tony Romo is the most under rated quarter back in the league. That being said, I will become the new greatest Cowboys fan of all time. The car is in great shape and runs perfect. This is a real deal, the first 2500.00 cash takes it, I have the title in hand. Thanks for your time Kevin......Go Cowboys.

So, I hope you all enjoyed Kevin's prank as much as we did. Believe me, we did. We made a mistake though. Because Kevin and Josh always play pranks on each other and because Josh is always so brilliant in his ideas we assumed that is was Josh who put Kevin's car up for sale. Nope!

Katelyn's Birthday get together..

I just love this picture!

She got a Little People Zoo, a bowling game, a dress and some bows for her hair, an outfit and a few other things. She loves everything!

We got her this Elmo balloon the night before. The first one came off of the string at the store and went to the ceiling. As it was flying away Katelyn was saying "My Elmo" just as clear as day. It was pretty funny. Luckily they gave us anither one. Now we go to the store and Katelyn points out her Elmo.

I always try to make them a cake.

RJ brought Angel's 4 wheeler so she could give the kids a ride. Baylee was all over it but Katelyn wouldn't get on.

Finally she did and we couldn't get her off of it.

Then she decided that she was big enough to drive her sisters 4 wheeler. She only crashed a few times. She actually did a really good job by herself. I think we will leave it in the backyard for a while and let her practice.

This is my Dad and Bud. I was trying to get them both without my Dad knowing but he wouldn't look up so I called his name and Bud turned into a goofball...LOL

After Chuck E Cheeses, we went home and opened her presents. She was being very patient....
