My little Fire Chief Princess!!
Katelyn and I got to attend Baylees Preschool class last Tuesday for the Fire Station field trip. Baylee has been asking for a fire hat for at least a year, and she finally got one.
Here is her class walking to the Fire Station. Her teacher Jenn has a great system for going places. They all hold on to the rope. Baylee told me before we got there that "you have to hold the rope Mom or else you will get a check mark".
This is the Fireman that gave the tour. He was very nice and explained things to them very well. He put on his whole uniform so the kids could hear the oxygen and hear him talk with the mask on. He says okay this is what we sound and look like if we ever have to come in your house, we will identify ourselves and ask where you are. He told the kids don't be afraid of us and don't hide, when we ask where you are you say I'M RIGHT HERE really loud. Baylee is really good at it.
