Partners In Excellence And Quality Award....

GA Larson is a national wholesale company that Bud works with. Every year they choose four people, one person per region, to receive the PEAQ award. Bud was the winner in the supplier salesman category for the Mountain Region.

They flew him to Pewaukee, Wisconsin for their awards recognition dinner on May 4th. The company will be publishing the event in several trade magazines.

Shooting...more Smith reunion...

I took Baylee to where they went shooting so that she could see what it was all about. She was a little bit concerned and thought they were going to shoot up a store or something. Here are some pics...

Bud shooting his 12 gauge.

Dad shooting his 20 gauge

Sonya shooting her 9mm.

Me shooting Dad's 20 gauge with a little help. I actually nailed a target with this one.

Bud shooting Dad's 30-06. His target was about 300 yards away, he hit dead on once and right below the target twice.

Dad was pointing out Bud's target...

My other Mother, Cozette, loading her semi-automatic.

Smith family reunion...June 13...

Today was very bitter sweet...we got to go out west and spend time with family, play on the new four wheeler, go shooting and eat yummy food but we had to do it for the first time without Dustin. Bud and I always met up with Dustin on the highway between here and there or he was already there when we pulled up so our drive out was a very difficult one. I missed that I couldn't text him or call him and that he wasn't behind us flashing his lights. Mostly we missed his laugh. I wish he could see and tell Baylee how awesome it is that she rode her 4 wheeler all by herself, or hang out with Katelyn like he always did... Well here is to an awesome day...

Baylee did a great job driving her 4 wheeler...she let all the kids have a turn but this is what she did for most of the day.

Katelyn enjoying some crackers and hanging out with Grandpa.
Bud giving Katelyn a ride. She asks to ride this thing all the time but she won't go on a snowmobile or sled, she cries the whole time. She loves the 4 wheeler.

Grandpa was Katelyn's favorite today. Why? Because he has the horses, and because he is Grandpa of course. Katelyn was so funny talking to him, she would tell him "Rio, come here" then pet him and hug him.
This is my silly niece Trystan...Sonya's daughter. She is as tall as me and she is only twelve. I guess that's not saying much but still....

Katelyn and Lacy listening to Lacy's IPOD.

Bruce comes to visit...

This is a picture of Bruce in August of 2008. He was about 4 months old. We found him a wonderful home, around the end of November or beginning of December, where he is very spoiled, loved and cared for. Bud and Bruce's new owner keep in contact over email and she sends picture updates. This time she decided it was time to come visit. His new name is Brutus and he is now just over 1 year old.

The girls remebered him, and we are pretty sure he remembered all of us and his first home.

Sammie was very excited to see him too.

Baylee's 2nd year of preschool graduation.

Baylee just received her diploma.

Baylee going down the slide on her belly. LOL..this was a big deal to her.
Katelyn got to swing and play on the playground.

St. George

This was Katelyns first time in a big pool...she was not to sure about it and wanted Mommy to get in.

This was the second time in the pool. Notice the big grin...she was playing with her Uncle Jesse.

Baylee holding on to Daddy, trying to get comfortable...then she went on her own. She gets so excited when she does it by herself.

Playing with the camera at the hotel room. Baylee always pulls funny faces when we take pictures.

Can you find Bud? LOL

Hanging out at Grandma's house....Great Grandma to the girls. We love her so much!!

Katelyn playing with Sammie. I think this is Katelyn's favorite passtime and Sammie just deals with it.

Saying bye to Great Grandma.

Bud always loves a picture with his Grandma...
